In 2002, nearly fifty years into his career, Taylor choreographed Promethean Fire, considered by many to be his finest work. Spoleto Box Office Opens in the Gaillard
On Saturday, April 8, 2006, Spoleto Festival USA will officially kick off its 30th Anniversary season with the opening of the Spoleto Box Office at 11am in the Gaillard Auditorium, 77 Calhoun Street. With less than seven weeks to go until the beginning of Spoleto, this is a great opportunity for patrons to purchase the best seats available to Festival's 140 performances of opera, music, dance and theater by artists such as Paul Taylor Dance Company, Cornwall-based Kneehigh Theatre, Circus Flora, Sara Baras Ballet Flamenco, jazz vocalist Kurt Elling and much more.
